One Strong Community Program was founded in Chicopee in 2017 to create engaging spaces where children and teens can learn, connect, create, and grow.

Today, One Strong provides school-age after-school, vacation, and summer programming, along with youth employment and internship opportunities that support confidence, creativity, and community connection.

History

2017 — One Strong Begins
One Strong was founded in Chicopee with a focus on creativity, youth development, and building stronger connections within the community. What began as a small idea grew through programs, events, and opportunities designed to give young people meaningful ways to learn, create, and participate.

2022 — One Strong Community Program LLC
In 2022, One Strong Community Program LLC was officially established, allowing the organization to expand its youth programming and create more structured opportunities for children, teens, and families throughout the community.

Today — Growing With Our Community
Today, One Strong provides after-school, school vacation, and summer programming for school-age children while continuing to support youth development through leadership, employment, internships, creative experiences, and community partnerships.

Our goal remains the same: to create spaces where young people feel connected, supported, challenged, and excited to grow.
